Activity

This multidisciplinary clinic includes a breast surgeon, radiologist, pathologist, plastic surgeon, oncologist, coordinator nurse and a social worker. All of them work together and cooperate in order to provide the best solution and the best results for the patient.

The multidisciplinary staff keeps continuous contact with the patients and their families during the surgical procedures, cytotoxic and immunosuppressive treatments, radiotherapy, and exchange information with the social workers of the HMOs.

The staff of the mammography institute is deeply involved with the multidisciplinary staff in order to define the necessary imaging measures for the correct diagnosis.   

The same staff deals with the patient about breast reconstruction and the timing of the procedure.
