Patients of all ages are treated at this unit for different diseases of the foot: Flat foot, inborn and developmental deformities of the foot, repair of the foot arch using a special screw, osteotomy, ankle replacement and revision of ligament and cartilage injuries.

The orthopedic surgeons are now using a very new minimally invasive surgery to repair hallux valgus deformity, called the mica surgery (Minimally Invasive Chevron and Akin Osteotomy).
