The Renewed Shila and Aric Samson Center for Nephrology and Hypertension

The management of the Barzilai medical center is proud to announce that the renewed center for nephrology and hypertension is now open. The center was built thanks to the generous donation of Shila and Aric Samson.

The renewed center for nephrology and hypertension is fully protected, and contains 25 fully equipped treatment positions with the most modern dialysis machines and monitoring devices.

The center was built with remarkable attention to optimal functioning, privacy and comfortability for the patients.

The staff of the nephrology and hypertension center includes 6 physicians, 30 nurses, social worker, secretary, dietician, bio-technician and research coordinator. The medical staff is enrolled in many research activity including international trials of new drugs.
